Our range of steel doors is made from Aluzinc steel, otherwise known as zincalume, which makes the doors more rust resistant.
Roos steel garage doors are coated with alu-zinc rather than galvanised steel, which gives the panel a longer service life. Five standard powder coated colours plus three wood-look finishes, built at our Centurion factory in single and double sizes and fitted from five branches.

Are steel garage doors rust resistant?
Our panels are coated with alu-zinc before powder coating, which carries a longer service life than galvanised steel. No steel door is rust proof though, and within a few kilometres of the sea the odds shorten. Wash the door with mild soap and water every two to three months and it will hold its finish. If you are right on the coast, ask your branch about aluminium instead.
What colours are available?
Five standard powder coated finishes: Charcoal, White, Bronze, Black and Stone Grey. Three wood-look finishes on top of that: Teak, Imbuia and Mahogany. Custom colours are available on request.
What styles of steel garage doors do you offer?
Three panel patterns. Horizontal 3 slat for a bolder line, horizontal 4 slat which is our best seller and suits most homes, and block pattern for the classic panelled look. Every style is available in every colour and in both sizes.
Are wood-look finishes available in steel doors?
Yes, in Teak, Imbuia and Mahogany. You get the appearance of timber without the sealing and sanding a real wooden door needs, and the panel underneath is the same alu-zinc coated steel.
Can I automate my steel garage door?
Yes. We fit the Eazy Lift Mark II, our own sectional motor. Its universal receiver takes any remote and the battery backup keeps the door working through a power outage.
