What is a framed aluminium garage door?
The aluminium frame is visible on the face of the door, with an infill panel set inside it. That gives the door defined lines and clear panel divisions across the face.
Can framed aluminium doors be automated?
Yes. We fit the Eazy Lift Mark II, our own sectional motor. Its universal receiver takes any remote and the battery backup keeps the door working through a power outage.
Are framed aluminium garage doors rust resistant?
Aluminium does not rust the way steel does, which is why we recommend it for homes near the coast. Our George and Gqeberha branches also stock galvanised torsion poles and nylon hinges for the same reason.
What colours are available?
Five standard powder coated finishes: Charcoal, White, Bronze, Black and Stone Grey. Hardware is colour matched to the door. Custom colours are available on request.
Can I choose different panel styles or infill options?
Yes. Infill panels can be specified in Perspex or aluminium, and the profile arrangement can be varied. The gallery shows what we have built before, which is the easiest way to settle on a look.
Can I order a custom size framed aluminium door?
