As a coastal branch it also stocks galvanised torsion poles and nylon hinges for rust prevention. Doors are manufactured at our Centurion factory and built to fit your opening, not cut down to suit it.

Because we manufacture the doors ourselves, the spare parts on the vehicle are the parts that went into your door in the first place.

George branch questions
Do you install outside George?
Yes. The branch covers Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Oudtshoorn and the surrounding areas. If your town is not on the list, call and ask, because the answer is usually yes.
Which garage door is best this close to the sea?
Aluminium, because it does not rust. Steel can be fitted on the Garden Route but we cannot guarantee it will not rust, so it needs washing with a bit of soap and water every two to three months. See the aluminium range.
Do you stock rust resistant hardware?
Yes. George and Gqeberha are our two coastal branches and both carry galvanised torsion poles and nylon hinges specifically for rust prevention. The inland branches do not stock them as standard.
Can I look at the showroom without driving in?
Yes. The George branch has a 3D walkthrough of the showroom you can take from your phone or laptop. Useful if you are coming from Plettenberg Bay or over the pass from Oudtshoorn.
Does George carry the same doors as the other branches?
Yes. Every branch sells the same range. Doors are manufactured at our Centurion factory and delivered to the branch installing them, so nothing about the product changes because you are on the coast.
Do you repair doors you did not install?
Yes. We service and repair every make of garage door, including older wooden doors we no longer manufacture. See repairs and servicing.
How quickly can someone come out?
It depends on where you are along the Garden Route. Call the branch on 044 873 4965 and they will give you a straight answer for your address rather than a number this page has made up.
Do the side weather seals really make a difference here?
On this stretch of coast, yes. They are fitted with every installation as standard and they keep out weather, dust and bugs. Driven rain is the reason we do not treat them as an optional extra.
