Garage Door Ranges: Aluminium and Steel
Two ranges, five options between them, all manufactured at our Centurion factory and installed by our own branches. Panels are built to fit your opening.
Roos manufactures two garage door ranges, aluminium and steel. Aluminium comes in slatted, framed and frameless. Steel comes in six patterns and six colours, in single and double. Every door is made at our Centurion factory, built to your opening, and has the option of fitting side weather seals.

What separates the four, in the terms that actually decide it. Pricing is quoted per door because it depends on design, colour and size.

What comes with every Roos garage door
Not options, not an upgraded model. Every door we build and fit gets these.
Panels are made to fit the hole in your wall. A non standard opening is a quote, not a problem.
Fitted with every installation as standard. They keep out weather, dust and bugs.
Every door is manufactured at Centurion and installed by our own branches. Nothing is outsourced.
Both ranges take the Eazy Lift motors, fitted at installation or added later.
Garage door range questions
Which garage door is best for coastal areas?
Aluminium, because it does not rust. Steel can be fitted at the coast but we cannot guarantee it will not rust, so it needs washing with a bit of soap and water every two to three months. Our George and Gqeberha branches also stock galvanised torsion poles and nylon hinges for coastal installations.
How long does installation take?
Most single and double door installations are completed in one visit. Lead time from order to fitting depends on the range and your branch, so ask when you get your quote.
What colours are available?
It depends on the range. Steel runs six colours including three wood-look finishes, listed on the steel pages. Aluminium is powder coated, so the colour is specified with your order. Custom colours can be quoted.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Yes, and it is how we build by default. Panels are made to fit your opening rather than a standard door being cut down to suit it. Send us the opening width and height for a quote.
Can I automate my garage door?
Yes. Sectional doors take the Eazy Lift Mark II and roller doors take our side fitted motor. Both have battery backup and manual override as standard. See garage door automation.
How do I maintain my garage door?
Have it serviced once a year. That is the interval the spring life is based on, and serviced annually a set of springs lasts up to ten years. Steel doors also want a wash with soap and water every two to three months. See repairs and servicing.
Do you still make wooden or pivot garage doors?
No. We manufacture aluminium and steel only. We still service and repair wooden doors that are already fitted, but we no longer build them.
What does a garage door cost?
Every door is priced on its design, colour and size, so there is no list price to publish. Tell us the opening size and the range you are looking at and your nearest branch will quote you.
